I refuse to assent to personality politics, ideology created around an individual can be damaging.
Thatcherite, Blairite, Corbynite, Starmerite, Deadite and Cenobite.
Maybe not the last two, but this faux tribalism just feeds the predatory narrative of destructive popularity politics.
Politicians needs to be smaller than their policies, their presence interchangeable with others that hold the same policies.
If they wish to be individually famous develop a talent and become an entertainer.
There is no place for individuals or petty tribalism in government, those that pursue fame are not leaders to me.
They look self-serving and that’s something I don’t want to see in my leader.
